The iPhone XR is made from aero-grade aluminum material and comes with a IP67 certification for water and dust resistance. The phone comes with a 6.1-inch Liquid Retina LCD display with 1792 x 828 pixels with 328ppi pixel density. The iPhone XR comes with a single camera lens with a 12-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, 1.4-micron pixel size and 6-element lens.
The iPhone XR now starts in India for as low as Rs 49,900 for the base 64GB model. Last year’s iPhone XS now starts at Rs 89,900 instead of its launch price of Rs 99,900. Apple's iPhone 8 and iPhone 7 have also received price cuts and are now available for starting prices of Rs 39,900 and Rs 29,900 respectively.
Apple’s latest iPhones which are being assembled in India through Foxconn Technology Group in Chennai will hit the Indian shelves sometime next month. The iPhones in the equation are the 2018-released iPhone XR and iPhone XS which could both get significant price drops for being locally assembled.
The Apple iPhone XR will be available for a starting price of Rs 59,900 for the base 64GB model, down from its launch price of Rs 76,900. The 128GB and 256GB models of the iPhone XR also receive discounts and will be sold at Rs 64,900 and Rs 74,900 respectively.
Cashify in partnership with Redington, Ingram and Rashi Peripherals have also announced some exchange offer, where users can own an iPhone XR at an effective cost of Rs 1,999 per month using Axis Bank cards and Citi Credit Cards.
