The Zte Nubia Z9 has no bezel whatsoever on the right and left hand side of the display making it the first borderless mobile phone. It measures 147.4 x 68.3 x 8.9 mm and weighs 192 grams.

It has a 5.2 inch IPS LCD display with full high definition resolution. This screen has been made with CGS screen technology that claims to offer wide viewing angle.

It has the Snapdragon 810 chipset comprising an octa core processor and Adreno 430 graphics processor.

The Nubia Z9 is said to have 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal memory while another edition is said to come with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB built-in storage. It does not have any external storage slot.

The Z9 has a 16 megapixel rear camera and an 8 megapixel front camera. The rear camera has Sony IMX234 Exmor RS sensor, OIS, F2.0 apreture, and auto focus while the front camera has F2.4 apreture and 5P lens.

Its 2900 mAh non-removable battery said to offer 2-3 days of standby.

It has dual band WiFi, GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS support, NFC, Bluetooth, a micro-USB port that also can act as an MHL TV output, dual SIM with 4G support and a finger print sensor.
