Redmi 8 smartphone is the latest offering from the house of Xiaomi, launched in India a couple of days back at a price tag of Rs 8,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. There is one more variant, which is priced at Rs 7,999 for the 3GB RAM with 32GB storage. The phone comes backed with 5000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support and runs on Android 9 Pie based on MIUI 10.0.1.3. It features a 6.22-inch HD+ 2.5D curved glass dot-notch (1520 x 720 pixels) display and comes equipped with 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 439 processor. The phone also comes with splash-proof nano-coating by P2i and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection at the front. There is also an option to expand the storage of up to 512GB with a microSD card and comes loaded with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock feature.

The phone comes packed with 5000mAh battery with 18W dual-engine fast charging support and under the hood, it employs a 2.0Ghz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor along with Adreno 610 GPU. The storage of the phone can be further expanded to up to 256GB via microSD card and comes equipped with a fingerprint sensor at the back as well as face unlock feature. The smartphone comes equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor with Adreno 616 GPU and runs on Android 9.0 Pie based on FunTouch OS 9.0. It employs a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and also has face unlock feature.
