Xiaomi recently introduced the launch of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Redmi K20 along with Redmi K20 Pro in India. The smartphone comes loaded with a host of interesting features. So, without wasting any time, here are the things that you should know about the Redmi K20.

As for the competition is concerned, the smartphone will face stiff competition from the likes of Vivo V15 Pro, Oppo F11 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M40 and more.
Redmi K20 : Price and Availability
Redmi K20 comes in two variants. The 6GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 21,999, while the 6GB RAM with 128GB of internal storage comes with a price tag of Rs 23,999. The smartphone will be available for purchase from Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting from July 22, 2019.
Redmi K20: Pop-up selfie camera
Just like the Redmi K20 Pro, this smartphone also comes with pop-up selfie camera. The company claims that it has teased to work 300,000 times. This means users can use it take 100 selfies a day for more than 8 years. There is also a LED strip, which glows when the camera pops up.
Redmi K20: Display
The Redmi K20 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Horizon Display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels along with 2.5D Corning Gorilla 5 protection. The display comes with 19.5:9 aspect ratio along with 600nits brightness.
Redmi K20: Design
The smartphone is loaded with Aurora Prime design. The gradient finish reflects aurora-like pattern when light falls on it. The phone is available in three colour options including Glacier Blue, Flame Red and Carbon Black.
Redmi K20: In-display fingerprint sensor
This is also the first smartphone from Xiaomi to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. The sensor is quite fast to unlock the device and one can use different animations for the in-display sensor.

Redmi K20 features a triple-camera setup with 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 sensor, a 13-megapixel wide-angle lens and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. The phone supports 4K recording at 30fps.

On the hardware front, the Redmi K20 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730 processor along with Adreno 616 GPU. The phone is backed by a 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of internal storage.

On the software front, the Redmi K20 Pro runs on MIUI 10, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The company has added the Poco Launcher, which brings the support for app drawer to the MIUI 10.

The Redmi K20 is equipped with a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera with AI Beauty mode and it also features face unlock. The mechanism comes with drop protection, which means that when the phone will notice the fall, the selfie camera will automatically will retract the camera.

The Redmi k20 is loaded with a 4000mAh battery and the company has bundled an 18W fast charger as well.
