Android Q is about to go official very soon and like always it will be first available on Google Pixel series. However, this time we have seen a lot of brands participating in the Android Q beta programme and HMD Global is one of them. The company has a strong lineup of smartphones with most of them running on Android 9.0 Pie. So the question here is that when HMD Global will roll out the Android Q update to its lineup soon after the release. Here’s the list of Nokia smartphones that should get Android Q update soon after it is made official.

Nokia 6.1

Nokia 6.1 was launched with Oreo and it recently got Android 9.0 Pie update. The smartphone is backed by a 5.5-inch Full display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, GB/4GB of RAM, 32GB/64GB of internal storage, 3000 mAh, 16MP rear camera and 8MP front camera.

Nokia 5.1

HMD Global update the Nokia 5.1 with Android 9.0 Pie and it could also get Android Q update soon after it is released in the market. The phone was launched in India with Android Oreo and it already got one major OS update. The phone features 5.5-inch Full display, MediaTek Helio P18 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 16MP rear camera, 8MP selfie camera and 3,000mAh battery.

Lastly, the Nokia 3.1 is also expected to get Android Q update once it is rolled out globally. The smartphone was launced with Android Oreo and it later got updated to Android 9.0 Pie. Nokia 3.1 5.2-inch HD+ display, MediaTek 6750 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13MP rear camera, 8MP and 2,990mAh battery.

Nokia introduced the Nokia 2.2 in the month of June this year and during the conference, the company confirmed that the smartphone along with Nokia 4.2 and Nokia 3.2 is eligible to get Android Q update. Coming to the specifications, the Nokia 2.2 features a 5.71-inch HD+ display, MediaTek Helio A22 chipset, 13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, Android 9.0 Pie, 2GB/3GB RAM, 16GB/32GB storage and 3000mAh battery.

Nokia 6.1 Plus is one of the most popular smartphones from the finnish brand. The smartphone got some rave reviews and it gave a stiff competition to its rival. Thus, it is natural that the company will roll out the Android Q update to this smartphone as it has a large user base. As for the price is concerned, the phone is priced at Rs 15,499 for the 4GB and 18,999 for the 6GB RAM option. Other specs include 5.8-inch Full HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 16MP + 5MP rear camera, 16MP seflie camera, 3060mAh battery and it is part of Android One programme.

The last year’s flagship smartphone from HMD Global is yet another that might be on the Android Q update list. The smartphone was launched in India in 2018 with Android Oreo and it recently got the Android 9.0 Pie update. This also means that the Android Q might be the last major update for this flagship smartphone from HMD Global. Talking about key specs, the Nokia 8 Sirocco features 5.5-inch Quad HD pOLED display, Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage, 12MP+13MP rear camera, 5MP selfie camera, 3260mAh battery with wireless charging.

Nokia 9 PureView is the first device in the list that should ideally gets the Android Q update, when it is available officially. The phone is currently running on Android 9.0 Pie. The smartphone is yet to make its official debut in India and there is no word when the company will launch this smartphone, but one could expect it to be announced soon. The major highlight of this smartphone is the penta-camera setup at the back panel, which is a first this world of smartphones. Other specs includes 5.99-inch with 1440 x 2880 Quad HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6GB RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 3320mAh battery and 20MP selfie camera.

The company recently rolled out Android Pie update to the smartphone and it is certain that it will receive Android Q update as well. Nokia 3.2 is yet another smartphone, which HMD Global has confirmed that it will get Android Q update once it is officially released by Google. The smartphone runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it comes with Android One branding. The phone is backed by a 6.26-inch HD+ display, Snapdragon 429 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, 13MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, 4000mAh battery and more.

HMD Global recently launched the latest Nokia 4.2 in India for Rs 10,990 and during the event, it confirmed that the upcoming smartphone is Android Q ready. The phone currently runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it features a dedicated Google Assistant key to activate the personal assistant.
