Top 20 Smartphones with 48MP camera

We have compiled a list of 20 smartphones which comes equipped with 48MP camera setup and we will surely come up with another list of smartphone that will use Samsung's ISOCELL Bright GW1 64MP sensor in near future, followed by next-generation 108 megapixels ISOCELL Bright HMX camera sensor smartphones.

Xiaomi Mi A3

It features a 6.08-inch HD+ AMOLED (1520 x 720 pixels) display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and with a waterdrop-style notch. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie and it comes under Android One programme and comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor along with Adreno 610 GPU. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor and comes packed with 4,030mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging

 

Xiaomi Mi A3 has a triple rear camera setup that has a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle f/1.79 lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. For the front, there is a 32-megapixel shooter with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calling. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Realme 5 Pro

Realme 5 Pro comes in three variants - 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage and 8GB RAM with 128 internal storage priced at Rs 13,999, Rs 14,999 and Rs 16,999 respectively. It features a 6.3-inch full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display with 90.8 per cent screen ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection. The phone comes armed with 2.3GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 processor with Adreno 616 GPU and phone comes with an option to expand the storage of up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The phone features a fingerprint sensor at the back and face unlock technology as well.

Samsung Galaxy A80

It is the world’s first phone to feature a triple rotating camera module which rises up and rotates to the front when using the selfie camera. On enabling the selfie mode, the triple camera setup slides up and rotates. The camera has 48-megapixel as a primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera with a 123-degree field of view and a 3D TOF depth sensor for Live Focus. Also, the ultra-wide images can be captured on both front and rear. With other intelligent camera features such as Scene Optimizer that can recognize and enhance up to 30 scenes, and Flaw Detection that automatically identifies glitches before a picture is clicked.

The Realme X sports a AI dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main sensor with f/1.7 aperture and a depth sensor of 5-megapixel with f/2.4 aperture. For the front, the phone has a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera that is claimed to offer an elevating speed of 0.74 seconds.

Its a gaming-centric design language coupled with top-notch hardware. The phone features Liquid Cooling 3.0, which includes a liquid-cooled plate along with liquid-cooled tube that covers all the heat-generating components of the CPU. There is an X-style antenna that provides better reception along with hidden press sensitive buttons for the display. The smartphone also comes with a Magic Press pressure-sensing technology to enable customisation of pressure sensitivity on the display.

 

Black Shark 2 features a 6.39-inch Full HD+ (2340 x 1080 pixels) display along with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 403ppi of pixel density, 108.9% DCI+P3 colour gamut and 430 nits brightness. The company is calling it a TrueView Display which restores true colour to the screen. It comes powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor along with Adreno 640 GPU and has an in-display fingerprint sensor.

 

The Black Shark 2 has a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support and it runs on Android 9.0 Pie. On the camera front, it is equipped with a dual-camera setup, which comes with a combination of 48-megapixel primary lens with f/1.75 aperture, 0.8-micron pixel size along with with a 12-megapixel telephoto lens with f/2.2 aperture, 1.0-micron pixel size, 2x lossless zoom and LED flash. There's a 20-megapixel selfie camera on the Black Shark 2 with f/2.0 aperture. Connectivity options for the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB Type-C port. The USP of this phone is its new flipping camera mechanism. The rear camera flips into the selfie camera with a touch of a button.
