Xolo has launched another octa core smartphone, called Play 8X 1100. The handset is priced at Rs 14,999. Earlier, Xolo had released Play 6X 1000 with hexa core processor and Play 8X1200 with octa core processor.
The new Xolo Play 8X 1100 comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display and the latest Android KitKat operating system. However, some other reports said that its display has full HD resolution. It has a powerful 1.7 GHz octa core processor and huge 2 GB RAM. There is Mali 450 GPU for handling graphics. For better gaming experience, the Xolo Play 8X 1100 comes with six-axis motion sensor.
This Xolo handset has a 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor while in its front lies a 5 megapixel camera. The Play 8X 1100 comes with 16 GB Internal Memory and an expandable storage slot that can accommodate a micro SD card of up to 32 GB. Besides, it has USB OTG support as well so you can use your pen drive (any storage device) with the phone via a OTG cable. The Xolo Play 8X 1100 has a 2100 mAh battery which though doesn’t seem enough to run the phone for a complete day with medium usage.
The main difference between the 8X 1200 and the new 8X 1100 is that the former’s processor is a bit overclocked (2 GHz). Also it has no expandable storage but it comes with 32 GB internal memory. It has also got a bigger 2300 mAh battery.
