Xiaomi, which operates in India under the brand name Mi, has reduced the price of Redmi Note Prime by Rs 500. Now the smartphone can be bought for Rs 7,999 from Amazon.in and Mi.com. The Redmi Note Prime was launched in India in December, last year for Rs 8,499.
Redmi Note Prime is an enhanced version of Redmi Note 4G. It has dual SIM slots, 2GB RAM, 16GB inbuilt memory (expandable to 32GB) and a Snapdragon 410 64-bit processor. Redmi Note Prime offers a 5.5 inch HD IPS display, 3100mAh Lithium-ion Polymer battery, 13 megapixel f/2.4 rear camera and a 5 megapixel f/2.2 front-facing camera.
Besides, the Redmi Note Prime offers Bluetooth 4.0 LE, dual Band WiFi, MIUI 7, WiFi Direct, USB on the go feature, and dual microphone for noise cancellation.
Meanwhile, Xiaomi has also announced discounts on Mi 4 and Mi 4i smartphones for limited period, from February 16 to February 19, during which the company is observing Mi Week. During this period, you can buy Mi 4 and Mi 4i at Rs 12,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively.
