Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro Red variant expected to launch in India on September 4

Now along with the Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Lake Blue colours, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will also be available in Red colour. Meanwhile, Xiaomi will also be launching the Redmi 6-series of smartphones in India on September 5 and it might also get a Red colour option.

Xiaomi is expected to launch its popular Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphone in a new Red colour variant in India tomorrow. The Redmi India on its official Twitter handle has been teasing the launch of this new colour for the past couple of days.

Now along with the Black, Gold, Rose Gold, and Lake Blue colours, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro will also be available in Red colour. Meanwhile, Xiaomi will also be launching the Redmi 6-series of smartphones in India on September 5 and it might also get a Red colour option.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is priced at Rs 14,999 for the base variant with 4 and 64 GB internal storage and Rs 16,999 for the 6 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The new variant will also be likely to be priced the same as other variants and will be available via Mi.com, Flipkart, and Mi stores across the country.

Redmi Note 5 Prohas a 5.99-inch IPS display protected by the 2.5D curved tempered glass with FHD+ resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a dual rear camera setup of 12 primary sensor and a 5 MP secondary sensor with a 20 MP front camera supporting Face Unlock.

The smartphone runs on MIUI 9 based on 8.1 Oreo and has a 4000 mAh sealed battery with Quick Charge 2.0 support. The phone is powered by a 1.8GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 octa-core with an Adreno 509 GPU.
