Xiaomi Managing Director and Global Vice President, Manu Kumar has announced on Twitter that Poco F1 is India’s number 1 smartphone in the online smartphone market of Rs 15,000 and above.
As per his tweet, Xiaomi Poco F1 has surpassed OnePlus 6 smartphone in terms of sales, according to a IDC report. The tweet includes an image which shows that the OnePlus 6 has a market share of 17.9 percent whereas the Poco F1 has a market share of 22.5 percent.

Xiaomi Poco F1 is the most affordable smartphone powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Chipset in India. The phone comes in Graphite Black, Rosso Red, and Steel Blue colour options. The Galaxy Note 9 that is powered by the same SoC is selling for Rs 67,900 in India while the OnePlus 6 powered by the same chipset is priced at Rs 34,999 for its base variant.
The Poco F1 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 19,999, while the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage editions are priced at Rs 22,999 and Rs 27,999 respectively. The Kevlar-bodied Poco F1 Armoured Edition with 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage is priced at Rs 28,999.
The Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D curved glass, 84 per cent NTSC color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 SoC with Adreno 630 GPU. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9 on top, it is upgradable to Android 9.0 Pie and MIUI 10. It has a 12-megapixel primary rear camera and a secondary 5-megapixel camera. On the front, it has a 20-megapixel camera with ƒ/2.0 aperture. The phone has a 4000mAh battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
