Vivo launched V9 Pro with 6GB RAM in India in September this year for Rs 17,990. Now reportedly, the company will also be launching another variant with 4GB RAM in India pretty soon.
As per a report of MySmartPrice, Vivo may launch a 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of the smartphone in India in some time. The report further says that the new variant of the Vivo V9 Pro may be priced at Rs 15,999 in India which is Rs 2,000 cheaper than the 6GB variant. Like the 6GB variant, the V9 Pro 4GB variant will also be available in Black and Nebula Purple colours.
Apart from the storage change, the new variant of the phone will sport the exact same set of specifications as of the existing 6GB variant. The Vivo V9 Pro comes equipped with 6.3-inch Full-HD+ FullView IPS LCD Display with 2280 x 1080 pixels resolution, 2.5D curved glass and 19:9 aspect ratio. The phone is armed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 2.2GHz octa-core Processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The new variant will have 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.
For the imagining department, the Vivo V9 Pro features a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor with LED flash, f/2.2 Aperture and a secondary sensor of 2-megapixel. The phone has a 12-megapixel front camera with AI Face Beauty, AR Stickers. For security, the smartphone features Face Unlock and fingerprint sensor as well.
The Vivo V9 Pro runs Android 8.1 Oreo with company’s own FunTouch OS 4.0 running on top of it and is fueled by a 3260mAh battery. There are various connectivity features like 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, 3.5 mm Headphone jack and Micro USB in the phone. The handset measures 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89mm and weighs 150 grams.
