Both the Slim (X7000QUA) and Curved (Q9800QUAG) models of the Quantum Dot 4K TVs come in two sizes - 55-inch and 65-inch. The new televisions will comprise of all features of a Smart TV, powered by an Android operating system. Both TVs offer a 4K UHD (Ultra High Definition) resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels.
The 49-inch model comes with model number D50QUHD-M10 and 55-inch variant carries model number D55QUHD-M10. Both the models come with Quantum Luminit display that the company claims offers 95 per cent NTSC to enhance the reds, greens and blues.
Both the TV comes with the Smart Share feature, which gives the Android mobile users a smart way of screening their mobile content on the large screen of the LED TV without internet connectivity options like Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
The Yuphoria Smart LED TV from YU features a 40-inch Full HD LED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels for a price of Rs 18,499. For around the same price, Xiaomi is currently selling its older 43-inch Mi LED Smart TV 4A with an FHD screen, stereo speaker, Smart TV interface and AI-enabled PatchWall UI.
The Yuphoria Smart TV is priced at Rs 18,499 and it will exclusively be available on Amazon starting October 10 in an open sale.
The TCL 65X4 TV as the company claims will be India’s first Google-certified Android QLED TV with a 4K screen resolution of 3,840 x 2,160 pixels. It also comes with Harman Kardon speakers for powerful, high-impact sounds which will be accentuated by Dolby’s advanced DTS post-processing technology.
The TV uses a customised back-light mode for low power-efficient consumption. There’s a 20-watt speaker powered by Dolby Digital Sound adding multiple dimensions to the audio-video experience. All of this housed inside a high gloss finish body that gives the TV a stylish edge and is the perfect fit for modern homes.
Dixon will start manufacturing TVs and security cameras for Xiaomi and will expand its manufacturing strength to 3.4 million LED TVs from its previous capacity of 2.4 million. During the first phase of the launch, Dixon will be investing close to Rs 150 crore and offering 800 jobs.
The company also announced that Alexa on Fire TV, including far-field control of Fire TV, will be available on all existing Fire TV devices in India through a software update on November 14.
