At the end of February, Xiaomi announced the much anticipated Redmi Note 7 Pro smartphone. The device in its 6GB + 128GB configuration is currently available for a price of Rs 16,999 on Flipkart, mi.com and Mi Home stores.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro features a 6.3-inch full display with a 2340 x 1080 pixel resolution and a small waterdrop style notch. It’s powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor with Adreno 612 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone comes with a dual rear camera with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, Sony IMX586 sensor and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. For the front, it has 13-megapixel camera for selfies. It runs Android 9 Pie withMIUI 10 and is fueled by 4000mAh battery with support for Quick charge 4.0.

Samsung Galaxy A50 (4GB + 64GB)

Samsung has been refreshing its mid-range and budget smartphone and launched the Galaxy A50 last month for a price of Rs 19,990 for its base variant.

The Samsung Galaxy A50 features a 6.4-inch (2340 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ Infinity-U display. It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 9610 10nm processor with Mali-G72 GPU, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The phone features an in-display Fingerprint sensor, the only phone to feature one under Rs 20,000. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup of a 25MP primary sensor with LED flash, f/1.7 and 5MP depth sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 8MP ultra-wide angle camera with f/2.2 aperture. It features a 25MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture. It runs on Android 9 Pie and is backed up by 4000mAh battery with fast charging.

Huawei Honor 10 Lite (6GB + 64GB)

Back in January, Huawei announced the Honor 10 Lite smartphone, the most high-end of which was the 6GB + 64GB model, selling for an asking price of Rs 17,999 on Flipkart.

The Honor 10 Lite is equipped with a 6.21-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor with ARM Mali-G51 MP4 GPU, 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The major highlight of the smartphone is the new 24MP selfie camera 1.8-micron pixel size and 4-in-1 light fusion technology. For the rear, there’s a dual-camera setup with a combination of the 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, phase detection and a secondary 2MP shooter. The phone runs on EMUI 9.0, which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. The Honor 10 Lite is backed by a 3400mAh battery.

Xiaomi Poco F1 (6GB + 64GB)

Xiaomi announced a surprise addition to the upper budget segment of smartphones with the launch of the Poco F1 device under a new Poco branding. Debuting by the end of August last year, the Poco F1 has been on the receiving end of praises since its launch and now sells for a starting price of Rs 19,999 after receiving a permanent price cut of Rs 1,000.

The Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch Full HD+ notch display with 2246 x 1080 pixel resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It’s powered by a Snapdragon 845 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. There is a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary Sony IMX363 sensor with dual pixel autofocus, with dual LED Flash, 1.4μm pixel size and a 5-megapixel secondary Samsung sensor. It has a 20-megapixel selfie camera along with support for IR face unlock feature. The device is backed up by 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

Nokia 6.1 Plus (6GB + 64GB)

To compete with the likes of Xiaomi and Huawei, HMD Global has lined up the Nokia 6.1 Plus. The device was launched last year with 4GB of RAM but last month HMD Global announced a 6GB RAM variant for a price of Rs 18,499.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus features 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels with 19:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box operating system. The phone has 3060 battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. For the camera, the smartphone has a 16MP + 5MP dual rear camera and a 16MP front-facing camera.
