Samsung recently launched World’s first quad rear cameras smartphone – Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 36,990for the 6GB RAM version and Rs 39,990 for the the 8GB RAM version. Now the smartphone is available for sale in an open sale on online retailersFlipkart,Amazon.in, Samsung Online Shop and Airtel starting today.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) comes in Bubblegum Pink, Caviar Black, and Lemonade Blue colour variants. There is Rs 3000 cashback for those customers purchasing the Galaxy A9 via HDFC Debit and Credit card.
Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with 1080×2220 pixels resolution. It is powered by 2.2GHz octa Core Snapdragon 660 Processor with Adreno 512 GPU.The phone also features a fingerprint scanner on the back panel.
For the quad rear camera setup, the phone has a 24-megapixel primary f/1.7 Aperture sensor, with a 10-megapixel telephoto camera that has 2x optical zoom, a 5-megapixel depth sensor, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera with f/2.4 aperture. The Galaxy A9 (2018) phone has a 24-megapixel front camera along with an f/2.0 aperture. All the cameras are backed by the company’s own AI camera software, dubbed Intelligent camera feature.

The phone has 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Both the variants can be expandable to 512GB via micro SD card. It runs Android 8 Oreo OS with Samsung Experience UI on top and it is fueled by 3800mAh battery with adaptive fast charging. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth v5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC (Optional) and Headphone jack. The phone measures 162.5 x 77 x 7.8 mm and weighs 183 grams.
