As expected, Xiaomi’s Redmi brand has announced the launch of Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition in China. The new Edition is priced at 2699 Yuan (approx. Rs 27,135) for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 2999 Yuan (approx. Rs 30,160) for the 8GB RAM with 512GB storage version and 3199 Yuan (Rs 32,160 approx.) for the top-end 12GB RAM with 512GB storage variant. It comes in Cool Black, White, Blue, Red and Carbon Black colours.
The Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The new chipset has a higher clockspeed of 2.96GHz and a 15% improvement in GPU performance. Additionally, the phone features 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. All the other specifications and design of the new smartphone are same as the Redmi K20 Pro.
Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition features a 6.39 inches Samsung’s AMOLED Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280×1080 pixels, 91.9 per cent screen-to-body ratio. For the optics, the K20 Pro smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a combination of Sony IMX586 48MP ultra-clear primary sensor with f/1.75, a 13-megapixel secondary super wide-angle sensor with f/ 2.4 and an 8-megapixel depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it features a 20-megapixel pop-up selfie camera withf/2.2 aperture.
The phone runs on the Android 9.0 Pie and has an in-display fingerprint sensor. It packs a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging support. It has various connectivity options like Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack. The dimensions are 156.7×74.3×8.8mm and the weight is 191g.
