Vodafone Idea is now sending out text messages to its users informing that their low-value postpaid plan will soon be upgraded to a Rs 399 plan. Idea's cheapest Rs 399 Nirvana postpaid plan comes with a total of 40GB monthly data with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day and access to Amazon Prime and Idea Select Membership.
Airtel says that 900Mhz 4G band will have high values of propagation, higher reach and high-speed data capacity from the latest development. The latest network enhancement is done by deploying LTE 900 technology throughout cities in the Northeast including Guwahati, Shillong, Agartala, Imphal and Itanagar.

The telecom operator has also introduced a new Cricket season data pack for its prepaid users.
The Vodafone Rs 299 plan is not ideal for data-heavy users. Instead, it is basically for customers looking for longer validity period.
The new Rs 229 Vodafone prepaid plan offers a validity of 28 days offering Unlimited Local, STD & Roaming calls within India during the course of the plan. The Rs 229 also offers 2GB of 4G/3G data per day for 28 days, unlike the Rs 255 plan which provides users with 2.5GB of daily data benefits.
The new Rs 389 prepaid plan comes with a validity of 30 days and it offers its customers 1GB data per day.
