With the completion of merger of Vodafone and Idea, customers of Idea will now be able to use 4G on ICR on Vodafone.
The same Rs 289 plan comes with a validity of 48 days In circles such as Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, Karnataka, Kerala.
In comparison, there is Vodafone Rs 159 open market plan which offers its customers 1GB 3G / 4G data per day, along with unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS per day.
This Vodafone plan can be availed via Balance Deduction Mode only. Usually, Vodafone offers other prepaid plans via recharge and easy Top-Ups. The recently launched Rs 279 plan also can be availed via Balance Deduction Mode.
The latest Vodafone plan targets users whose sole purpose of a network is voice calling. The Rs 279 prepaid plan will thus allow unlimited voice calling to up to 1000 minutes per week and 250 minutes per day. Further, the plan also provides users with 4GB of 4G/3G mobile data, all of which will be valid for 84 days.
The products will be available to local cable operators starting October 15 and customers will be able to register from November 01, 2018.
BSNL Rs 9 and Rs 29 were announced with 1 day and 7 days validity respectively. Both the plans earlier used to offer a user 2GB daily data.
The new plans are priced at Rs 209, Rs 479 and Rs 529 and the packs are valid across all the circles in the country. All the new prepaid plans come with a daily data limit of 1.5GB, though the validity of the plans is different from each other.
The operator has introduced Rs 999, Rs 1999, Rs 4999 and Rs 9999 prepaid plans in the country. Both new and existing Jio customers can opt for these long-term prepaid plans.
Both the Vodafone plans compete with Reliance Jio’s popular Rs 98 plan which also comes with a validity of 28 days.
