MTS to launch 7 inch CDMA tablet soon

The CDMA operator will launch a 7 inch Android based tablet and sell it with bundled data plans in India.

MTS, which yesterday launched the based Mtag 401 smartphone, is also set to announce a 7 inch Android 2.2 based tablet very soon.

While the Android 2.2 offering is a bit surprising as now tablets are coming with Android 4.0, MTS says that overall package will be very attractive for users.

MTS has said in a statement that it will offer some bundled applications as well, which we expect to be the MTS TV and a few other entertainment related apps. MTS is also expected to provide some free data usage with the tablet as it is offering with the newly launched Mtag 401.

The MTS official, however, refused to disclose the specifications of the tablet but added that it will be a very attractive package. We will keep you posted on the developments as they happen.
