Lenovo is all set to launch the Phab 2 Plus smartphone in India today. Phab 2 and Phab 2Plus were unveiled at the Lenovo Tech World 2016 conference in June this year. As of the company had made it clear that only Phab 2 plus will be launched in India.
The Phab 2 at the time of unveiling was priced at $199 (approximately Rs 13,249) and Phab 2 Plus was priced at $299 (approximately Rs 19,974) in the international market. Both the phablets come in Champagne Gold and Gunmetal Grey colours options.
The Lenovo Phab 2 has a metal body and features a 6.4-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is armed with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT8735) processor with Mali-T720 GPU. The Phab 2 comes with 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via a micro SD card. The phablet flaunts a 13-megapixel camera with LED Flash on its back and a 5-megapixel selfie camera on the front panel. Besides, the Phab 2 offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Dolby Atmos.
On the other hand, The Lenovo Phab 2 Plus too has a metal body and features a 6.4-inch screen, same as its sibling, but with Full-HD (1080 x 1920 pixels) 2.5D Curved Glass display. It is armed with 1.3 GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT8783) processor with Mali-T720 GPU. It also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is integrated on the back panel of the phablet.
The Phab 2 Plus comes with 3GB RAM, and 32GB of internal memory, which can be further expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card same as Phab 2 phablet . The phablet flaunts a Dual 13-megapixel auto-laser camera with Dual tone LED Flash on the back and a 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 Aperture on the front panel. Besides, the phablet offers Hybrid Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, and Dolby Atmos.
Both the phablets runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system with Vibe UI on top of it and are powered by a 4050 mAh battery.
