LeEco will made available the silver colour variant of the Le 1s in the next flash sale which is to be held on February 16. The registration for the third flash sale will start today (Feb 9) from 6 PM. Note that those who registered earlier but could not buy the Le 1s today won’t need to register afresh as there would be a roll over.
So far only the golden colour version of the phone was available. The two variants have the same specs though that includes metal unibody, mirror finished fingerprint sensor, 5.5-inch full-HD IPS display, Mediatek Helio X10 Turbo 2.2GHz octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
The Le 1s, which is priced at Rs 10,999, runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system with the EUI 5.5 custom user interface on top of it. The smartphone comes with a reversible USB Type-C with fast-charging SpeedVolt technology and gets the power from 3000 mAh battery. The smartphone offers a 13-megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The Dual-SIM handset measures 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5 mm and weighs 169 grams.
Meanwhile, today LeEco claimed to have got 95,000 orders for the Le 1s in the second flash sale. Curiously, 10.30 lakhs users have registered to participate in the flash sale. In the first flash sale, the company claimed to have sold 70,000 units of the phone.
“Consumer response has validated the popularity of Le1S. Within 24 hours of the launch event, the registration for Le 1s for the first flash sale exceeded 1 lakh, soaring to a final astounding figure of 605,000 with a sale of 70,000 phones in just 2 seconds – setting a string of new records in the industry,” the company said in a press release.
