An unannounced 3G Lava smartphone, named as Lava A48, has been found listed on company’s official website with features and specifications. As of now there is no information on pricing and availability mentioned on the website. However, we expect this smartphone to be available for purchase in coming days and will fall under the budget-friendly category. The smartphone comes in two different colors- White, and Gold.
The Lava A48 features a 4-inch WVGA (480x800p) capacitive multi-touch display. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, which is paired with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, and expandable memory up-to 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system and is packed with 1300mAh battery.
The smartphone sports a 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a VGA (0.3MP) Resolution camera on the front. Besides, the Lava A48 offers Dual SIM, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, a MicroUSB port, 3.5mm Audio Jack, web browsing, on-line chat, e-mail, Clock, Alarm, and Calculator. The handset measures 125.8 X 64 X 9.9 mm and weighs 116.4 grams with battery, 87.5g without battery.
Yesterday, Lava had announced the launch of Lava A79 smartphone with decent features for Rs 5,699. The Lava A79 has a large 5.5 inch large screen and is powered with a 1.2 GHz quad core processor. It has 1GB RAM, 8 GB inbuilt memory and expandable storage slot for a micro SD card of up to 32GB capacity. The 3G-enabled dual SIM smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and is backup with 2200 mAh Li-Ion battery.
Lava A79 comes with a 5 megapixel rear camera with flash and 2 megapixel front camera with flash that helps to capture selfies even in low light. Additionally, the smartphone provides HD video recording and Digital Zoom with HDR and Photo Timer Grid. It reinforces Lava’s Smart Screen Gestures, Smart Music and Video PIP. Lava A79 also offers an interesting feature, ‘Smart Screenshot’ that transforms scrolling pages from WhatsApp chats, Facebook, browsers into a single image which can be shared across social platforms with ease.
