JioPhone now available with Rs 500 discount on PayTM Mall

JioPhone features a 2.4-inch QVGA display with a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor which will either Spreadtrum SPRD 9820A or QC8905 along with Mali 400 GPU.

Paytm Mall is now offering the JioPhone which was launched last year at a discounted price. JioPhone is now available for purchase at Rs 1099 with a discount of Rs 500 on Paytm Mall instead of the regular price of Rs 1,599.

Recently Reliance Jio announced the JioPhone 2 feature phone at the 41st annual general meeting (AGM) in Mumbai at an introductory price of Rs 2,999. Jio also announced Jio Monsoon offer under which customers can replace their older JioPhone for a new JioPhone 2 for Rs 500. This offer will start from July 21. So if you are the one who is not really keen on buying the new JioPhone, you can buy the last year’s feature phone at a lesser price.

To get the JioPhone at a Rs 1,099, you have to first open the Paytm Mall on your smartphone and then search for the JioPhone as Jio F490M. When you click on the Buy button, it will take you to the payment gateway. Now here you have to type the promo code “MONSOON500” to receive a cashback of Rs 500. You will have to pay Rs 1,599 only at the time of payment and later on receive the cashback of Rs 500.

To recall the specifications, the JioPhone features a 2.4-inch display with a screen resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The phone will be powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core which will either Spreadtrum SPRD 9820A or QC8905 along with Mali 400 GPU. The phone is backed by a 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 128GB via card.

On the camera front, the device comes loaded with a 2-megapixel rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front camera. It is juiced up by a 2000mAh battery, which the company claims to give a of 12 hours and of 15 days. On the connectivity front, it supports VoLTE, 4.1 with BLE, GPS, NFC and 2.0.
