After Huawei Mate 10 Pro and Honor View 10 receiving Android 9.0 Pie update, Huawei P20 Pro has also started receiving Android 9.0 Pie update.
As per a report of Android Soul, Huawei P20 Pro is now getting Android 9.0 Pie update in the European region. It is expected that the update will be fully rolled out and all the devices will get it by the end of the year.
The official changelog published on Huawei’s hicloud servers don’t include anything else except regular Android 9.0 features and little UI changes with improvements in the overall system. The update is available for Huawei P20 Pro with model no. CLT-L09 and C432. brings version number 9.0.0.108 based on EMUI9.0 which is same as Mate 10 Pro and Honor View 10 devices.
The update is rolled out via OTA (Over-the-Air) in a phased manner. So it may take a while to reach all handsets. In order to get the latest update, users can go to Settings > About Phone > System Updates.
To recall, Huawei P20 Pro was launched in India with a price tag of Rs 64,999 in April this year. It features a 6.1-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a screen resolution of 2244 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:7:9. It has atriple-camera setup with Leica branding.The device is powered by an octa-core Kirin 970 processor along with Mali-G72 GPU. The phone is backed by a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The device is backed by a 4000mAh battery with Fast charging support.
