Huawei Nova 3 with Kirin 670 SoC to launch on December 5:Report

The smartphone is said to feature a 5.93-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9.

Huawei launched Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus smartphones under its new Nova series in China earlier this year. Now seems like the company is gearing up to launch the Nova 3 smartphone by the end of this year.

As per a report of GizmoChina, Nova 3 smartphone might feature a similar design to the Nova 2i, which was launched earlier this month in Malaysia. To recap, the Nova 2i is the same phone that launched as Mate 10 Lite in Europe, Maimang 6 in China and Honor 9i in India. The Nova 3 is expected to be priced around RMB 2,999 which is approximately Rs 29,200 and the smartphone is likely to launch on December 5.

As per the report, the smartphone is said to feature a 5.93-inch full display with a resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It will likely to be powered by the new Kirin 670 SoC that is speculated to be built on a 12nm manufacturing process. It will reportedly be coming in two variants – 3GB with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. There will also be a fingerprint scanner which will be placed at the back of the device.

For the camera, the Nova 3 is said to sport four cameras just like the Nova 2i. On the rear, it might come with a 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel dual-camera setup and in the front, the device might sport 20-megapixel and 2-megapixel dual-camera setup. The smartphone will be backed up by a 3,340mAh battery with 18w support and it will run 8.0 Oreo operating system with EMUI on top.
