Google has announced the new Play Newsstand App for the Android platform based smartphones and tablets. The Google Play Newsstand app collates all the news, blogs and magazines at one place.
Google Play Newsstand app offers access to over 1900 full length publications with free as well as paid subscription model. In a way, Google brings the best of Play Magazines app and Currents app in one place.
The Google Newsstand offers subscription to the newspapers, magazines, blogs and news sites. The Play Magazines app will automatically get updated to the Newsstand app in coming months for select regions.
Google has promised to bring the Newsstand app for the iOS platform in early next year. Not to forget, the Apple iOS already has a Newsstand app offering similar features.
The Android smartphone and tablet users can download the Play Newsstand app from the Google Play Store.
