Oppo is working on its next F-series smartphone – Oppo F9. The smartphone has been a subject of various leaks in the past and now today complete spec sheet of the Oppo F9 has surfaced online.
As per a report of MySmartprice, the Oppo F9 will feature a 6.3-inch LTPS TFT LCD display with 1080 x 2280 Full HD+ resolution. It will be powered by a 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio P60 octa-core 12nm processor with an ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU. The smartphone will come in two variants – 4GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage.
For the camera department, the Oppo F9 will feature a dual rear camera with a combination of 16-megapixel with f/1.85 Aperture and 2-megapixel. For the front, it has a 25-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture. For connectivity, it will support 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG support. It will run on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and will include Sensors like E-compass, Light sensor, Proximity sensor, G-sensor and Accelerometer.
The report further reveals that the Oppo F9 will be backed up by 3500mAh battery with VOOC Fast charging technology. With this, the phone will provide 2 hours of talk time with just five minutes of charging. An earlier leak has also confirmed that the smartphone will come with VOOC flash charging. For dimensions, the OPPO F9 will measure 156.7 x 74.0 x 7.99mm and weighs 168 grams. The smartphone is said to come in Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue, and Starry Purple colour variants.
A recent teaser revealed that the Oppo F9 will be launching in Vietnam on August 15 with a 25-megapixel AI driven front camera, though there is no information about its launch in India yet. Oppo India has teased the launch of F9 Pro on its social media channels in India. Reports say that Oppo is teasing the same Oppo F9 Pro as Oppo F9 in India and it may be priced around Rs 25,000 in India.
