Zopo today announced the launch of its deca core smartphone, the Speed 8, in India at Rs 29,999. As per Zopo, the Speed 8 will be available from today via both online and offline channels.
Curiously, the phone was made available long back in India and is currently available on Amazon.in for Rs 31,500.
The phone comes in black and silver colors.
The Zopo Speed 8 features a 5.5-inch (1920×1080 pixels) Full HD IPS display. It is powered with latest MediaTek’s Helio X20 deca-core processor, which is clubbed with impressive 4GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU. The smartphone runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 3600 mAh battery with Fast charging support.
The Speed 8 flaunts a 21-megapixel shooter on its back panel with dual LED Flash light, PDAF, and Sony IMX230 sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front camera. The front shooter also comes with an LED flash. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C and notably a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. The handset measures 152.5 x 76.35 x 9.8mm and weighs 136 grams.
