Dish TV has announced the launch of a new streaming stick in India. Dubbed as d2h Magic Voice Enabled, the streaming stick comes with a price tag of Rs 1,199 and it comes with a monthly service fee of Rs 49 (excluding GST). However, the monthly fee will be not applicable for the first three months.

The latest streaming stick comes loaded with support Alexa and it comes with voice-enabled remote as well. The streaming stick comes pre-loaded with different services including Watcho, Sony LIV, Zee5, Hungama Play, ALT Balaji and more. However, there is no clarity on when services like Amazon Prime Videos, Netflix or Hotstar will be available on the streaming stick. However, it is important to note that one has to additionally subscribe to apps or DTH packages.

With Alexa, users can do multiple things with simple voice commands. One can set timer or alarms, listen to music, control smart home devices, control set-top-box, get weather updates, book a cab, get flight status and more. The streaming stick comes with a 6 months warranty.

The d2h Magic Voice Enabled streaming stick gives a direct competition to the likes MarQ TurboStream streaming stick, Amazon Fire TV Stick and Airtel streaming stick. Meanwhile, Dish TV recently introduced internet-enabled Android-based Set Top Box ‘Dish SMRT Hub’ and Voice-enabled Alexa Built-in smart kit ‘Dish SMRT Kit’.

Dish SMRT Hub is available at a price of Rs 3,999 for new subscribers & Rs 2,499 for existing subscribers. Dish SMRT Kit with a dongle and remote powered by Amazon Alexa are priced at Rs 1199 and available for existing DishTV subscribers.
