Optiemus Infracom Limited, a BlackBerry brand licensee, today announced the launch of the BlackBerry KEY2 LE in India. The device comes with a price tag of Rs 29,990 and it will be exclusively available on Amazon India, starting 12th October. It will be available in space blue colour variant. Interested customers can use ‘Notify Me’ option on Amazon which will starts in the first week of November.

BlackBerry KEY2 LE has a touch and type physical QWERTY keypad and it comes with 4.5-inch (1620 x 1080 pixels) display with 3:2 aspect ratio, 434 PPI and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered with 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm processor with Adreno 509 GPU.

The smartphone has 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. KEY2 LE runs on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system.
BlackBerry KEY2 LE is equipped with a powerful 3000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 technology that gives over 22 hours of mixed usage.

The smartphone also comes preloaded with the BlackBerry security and productivity apps and features that help deliver the most secure Android experience, including the DTEK™ by BlackBerry, BlackBerry® Password Keeper, Privacy Shade, BlackBerry Hub and many more.

For the camera department, the BlackBerry KEY2 LE has a dual rear camera of 13-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED Flash and a 5-megapixel secondary rear camera with f/2.4 aperture. For the front panel, it features an 8-megapixel fixed focus camera with selfie flash.
BlackBerry KEY2 LE offers a wide array of in-built features likes panoramic selfie mode, selfie enhancements, Google Lens camera integration, and real-time Bokeh mode.

The smartphonefeatyures various connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4 & 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio. It has 150.25 x 71.8 x 8.35 mm dimensions and weighs 156 grams.
