Global software giant Microsoft has announced the launch of a brand new product for the Android operating system, called ‘on{x}’. Pronounced on-ex, the system allows any and all Android users to create rules for their devices to do or trigger specific tasks and activities automatically.

Microsoft, however, has announced this product just for Android based devices as of now but we can expect on-ex to appear on multiple operating systems as well as it has the potential to be a great and path breaking product.

On{x} allows users to create simple recipes, recipes stands for rules that can be set for any Android device and the application will make sure that action is completed as per the will of the user. Users can simply log into the on-ex website using just their Facebook ID and can get going with setting up instruction for their devices.

For instance, users can set up simple rules like switching on music on their device as soon as they start jogging in the morning, or to send an SMS to their family telling them as and when they arrive at their work place.
