Asus had recently introduced the Google Nexus 7 tablet officially in India but only 16 GB model was made available. Now the company announces the 32 GB WiFi only model along with a 3G Network SIM supporting Nexus 7 tablet models today.
Sporting a 7-inch HD display, the Nexus 7 runs Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system. The Nexus 7 with 32 GB (WiFi only) internal storage is priced at Rs 18,999 while the 3G Network SIM supporting model is priced at Rs 21,999 for India.
Asus and Google have worked together to bring an affordable tablet – Nexus 7 and had announced it last year. After three months of availability in the gray markets, the Nexus 7 tablet was launched officially last month in India.
The Nexus 7 tablet features a 7-inch touchscreen LED Backlit HD display with 1280×800 pixel Resolution natively. The display features the ASUS TruVivid technology with Corning Fit glass to provide better colour, clarity, scratch resistance and also support up to 178 degrees viewing angles.
This tablet is powered by quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 Chipset paired with 1 GB RAM. The tablet also features WiFi, Bluetooth, and has a 1.2 Megapixel camera in the front without any camera at the back.
The 3G model will require a SIM but will not support voice calling. Packing a 4325 mAh battery, the Nexus 7 has been quite popular even in India.
However, the pricing of the 32 GB and 3G models are the MRP and one can always look out for best buy prices at the online as well as offline stores.
