10.or G2 will be the successor of 10.or G which was launched last year in India.
10.or (pronounced Tenor) launched 10.or G last year in India at a starting price of Rs 10,999. Now the company is working on its successor dubbed as 10.or G2. The specifications of the smartphone have now leaked online.
Details of this smartphone have been revealed by the Google Play Developer Console's Device Catalog, first spotted by XDA Developers. As per the listing, 10.or G2 will be powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC with 6GB of RAM and Adreno 509 GPU. This processor is present in budget smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Motorola One Power, Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 and more.
Further, the listing reveals that the 10.or G2 will have full HD+ display of unknown screen size. The display will have a resolution of 1080 x 2246 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9, which hints that the device will sport a notch on top of the screen. The other important detail revealed by the listing is that phone will run on an older Android 8.1 Oreo software and not the latest Android 9 Pie.
Apart from these few specifications, the Device Catalog also has a low-resolution render of the phone. It looks a standard 2018 phone from the front, with relatively small bezels on three sides and a thicker chin as compared to the sides.
As per an earlier GeekBench listing, 10.or G2 will be running on a Snapdragon 660 processor which will be coupled with 6GB RAM. On the software front, 10.or G2 will be running on the Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box.
To recall the 10.or G sports a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor along with Adreno 506 GPU coupled with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage options. The storage can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot.
On the camera front, the 10.or G has dual rear camera setup with two 13-megapixel sensors out of which one is used for capturing RGB, while the other is used to click monochrome photos. The front panel has a 16-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. It runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and is juiced up by a 4000mAh battery.
