why roaming charges are taken?

if u shift from one place to another like from one state to another roaming charges are taken by the cellur operator i knw its very bad by them bt if u shift from one state to another with ur same number they have to pay little tax to the government and they charge u healivy for that and i knw its wrong by companies like vodafone and airtel and even idea are here nt only to provide u with service bt also to earn so i think u should understand that y the companies charge u for roaming hope the TRAI removes all these berrrs and make all India roaming for free lets hope for the best
