what is the reason for poor signal?

Dear, It all depends on a lot of things... Do you live in a house or a flat? Is your living room in a basement, ground floor, first floor, or 6th floor of a block of flats? In some cases, mobile networks also suffer from seasonal changes to trees It could of course simply be down to the fact that the nearest mast(s) are going through a prolonged outage or upgrade

due to lack of coverage buy the network in the area or due distortion created by the electronic systems used or may be the mobile phone reciever is poor.

Signal is nothing but the electromagnetic energy(waves) which comprises of the data or voice information. When the power of the electromagnetic waves received by the receiver(transceiver) antenna in our mobile phone is less than the noise power then it is known as poor signal.
