it is impossible to change os of such phones but still there are some softwares and phone flashing methods by which you can improve the phones camera quality etc. keep this in mind if you are interested in doing some like that then be prepaed to take risk because it may cause damage to your phone .

The java phone you are talking about is based on generic os of samsung. The operating systems are decided upon while the phone is manufactured. You cannot run different os on mobiles just like you do on pc. A mobile's processing capability, ram, user interface are different depending on its price. Specific operating systems are designed keeping all these things in mind. Even it is not possible to run a nokia s40 os on a similar samsung java based phone. Android is a whole genre of software in itself. The minimum processing capability associated with android phones is 500mhz and hence its not possible to run android on the generic samsung.

Well, changing an operating system in any phone by the user is impossible, because the phone must have advanced processor, appropriate RAM and an adequate GPU for running an OS in a phone. Phone manufacturers only can be able to do that and at the time of manufacturing itself, they will decide the type of phone they are going to produce and for that they will provide the phone with high end configurations, such that the phone will be capable of running an OS.

it is impossible to change the operating system of a mobile phone to another. The hardware does not work when the os was changed.

It's not possible till now......Java is a programming language and this language has a special edition for mobile phone used by emulators to run small java programmed application. JAVA is NOT an operating system. There are many technical matters to run Android.
