Charging over a limited time will spoil your battery & in future it cannot store the charge for long time

Yes it surely reduce the life of battery because every battery have a limited capacity after this the mobile indicates the battery is full thereafter you put the battery in charging it leads to battery explosion it causes damages to mobile phone.don't put the charging more than 21/2 hours

I've always read that it wont hurt the battery.  When the battery is fully charged the device knows to stop accepting a charge.  Since phones these days are using lithium ion batteries they don't have the "memory effect" that used to be a problem.  They actually prefer more frequent small charges then larger ones as it is less taxing on the battery. But it is a good idea to let is fully drain every once in awhile to keep it calibrated correctly.  That being said, i wouldn't leave it plugged in all the time and use demanding apps, in conjunction with the charging it will produce a lot of heat which will hurt battery life.

If the battery is being charged for too long it reducess the battery performance and happers its life...it causes alot of wastage of energy because of back flow of charge and produces heat too...

yes of course it reduces the battery life and also the phone becomes too hot when we charge it more.

Yeah it does some times if u leave it for charging for a long time. Actually the battery is made up of ions whom activeness reduces the moment there is nothing to charge but still the power comes in.

I don't think so, I've heard it is good to keep charging your phone at intervals.

Yes, because some internally working, like phone location tracing and network check run on ur phone either it is locked. The incoming signal or outgoing signal take a little bit of ur phone power.
