I have heard that most of the tablet phones consume battery in monstrous proportions and seeking out a tablet which would drain the battery less will be akin to searching for needle in hay stack. However battery life depends on several factors and if you are a bit wise you can save a lot of power. First thing is keep all those apps closed which youdon't need. Many of them keep running in the back ground and serveyou no good. Keep a watch on whether the bluetooth is on. Even though nothing is being sent just keeping it on consumes power. Don'tkeep headsets, or cables attached to it unnecessarily since they consume power. Always listen to music with non bluetooth headphones as the later is a big waste on power. Don't keep the gprs connections always online because as such the tablet would always synchronize with online portals to see if anything new has arrived. And keep the back light timings smaller since they are the biggest battery drainers in the group. You can always see the screen even without backlight and hence keep some precaution regarding its use. These small steps will go a long way in ensuring good battery life.

The Asus EEE Pad Transformer is currently the best batterybackup tablet..It offers an impressive 16 hours of battery backup and the connectivity options includes the two USB ports, SD and Micro SD card slots. This tablet weights 680 grams and it’s priced at $ 400. it is provided with the Nvidia Tegra 2 processor with 1 GHz. It also includes the flip out full keypad to make it work as the laptop. Impressively it features a 10.1 includes screen with LED Back light WVGA resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The camera is just better with 5 mega pixel camera atthe rear and 1.2 megapixels at the front side. It’s added with various sensors like G Sensor, Light Sensor, GPS, Compass and provides unmatched multi-tasking experience. It’s a tough competitor to other tablet running on Android Honeycomb 3.0.

hmm !! while speaking about battery technology i must say that in the last decade there has been no worthwhile development, and that is very sad when we compare them to the development of IT technologies which are getting developed like anything... so what i can suggest u is that go for tablets and devices which have solar powered options.... even if u drain out of charge at the most critical times and u have nothing to recharge the cells, there will be SUN even if u are in the poles, may u have to wait for 6 months or so, but u'll definate get something, will never run out of charge for ur entire life...
