Tata Docomo has introduced a unique offer for its post pay customers with the new Rent Free plan, which will be available for both new and existing GSM postpay customers. This plan is an innovative product designed with a view to allow customers to pay what they use and that too without paying any rental fees. “We want to offer greater flexibility and affordability to our postpay customers. We believe this exciting initiative will appeal to all the postpay users, who have been looking for an exceptional experience on their network” Tata Docomo Karnataka Circle CEO Sriram Attur said. This plan also offers tariff rates to the customers where the call rates will be 1 paisa/2 seconds for all local calls and 5 paise/6 seconds for all STD calls. In addition to this, the customer will also get free airtime of 100 local and 100 STD minutes clubbed with this new rent-free plan. The Zero Rental Plan is available to all those post-paid customers whose monthly usage is Rs 500 and above, for monthly usage amount less than Rs 500, a rental of Rs 149 will be charged, the company said.

Yeah..Tata docomo has good 2g rates..With good speed..!! Airtel has vry gud speed bt slightly costly thn docomo

The lowest prices are undoubtedly offered by Bsnl which charges 1p/10kb. Though the data offers like 100mb are much more similar to private players. I think mtnl is also cheap. All other operators charge around ten times more i.e 10p/10kb. Airtel's charges were earlier 30p/20kb which are now slashed to 10p/10kb. Vodafone, reliance, aircel, idea etc offer similar rates.
