With the fastest growing population of millionaires and an upwardly mobile middle class, forecasters now predict that India’s capacity for luxury goods and services could exceed Japan’s by 2020. To get there, luxury brands have unglamorous barriers to entry to overcome, including 50% to 100% import taxes and strong competition from local brands.

Mobiles are basically used for communication purpose. They are not for luxuary or for any show purpose. So i strongly support for "need of a middle living indian"

In this modern world, a mobile is a must one for one to survive. And in the views of a middle living indian, a mobile is not a luxury item because it is affordable one to buy. Moreover cheap mobile phones are available in the market and that doesn't sounds like a luxury item.

Well if you talk about some 5 years earlier, a mobile used to be a luxury item but in todays world it has definitely become a need of a middle living indian. None of us can imagine a life without without a mobile. Not only are we addicted to it but it is also of a great use in our day to day lives.

THIS IS NOT AS MUCH NEED FOR LUXURIOUS MOBILE IN LIFE OF A MIDDLE CLASS HUMAN. JUST THINK WOULD A MIDDLE CLASS MAN BUY A MOBILE WORTH RS. 30000 OR SHOULD RUN HIS HOME WITH THIS MONEY.......THINK ABOUT IT.
