On the display front, Elife S5.5 features a 5-inch 1080 x 1920-pixel Super AMOLED display. The picture quality was good and I didn't see any pixilation and viewing at different angles was not angle.

The Gionee Elife S5.5 sports an octa-core MediaTek MT6592 chip running at 1.7GHz supported by 2GB RAM. While browsing the phone I felt slight lag and it may be due to a software issue. In terms of memory, the Elife S5.5 has 16 GB built in and their option to expand it further using a microSD card.

Verdict
I really enjoyed the slimness of the phone and the price seems to be just right. The way Elife S5.5 has been designed it looks stunning and it gives me a feeling that not all Chinese product are of inferior quality and the only thing that needs to be put under test is its performance and battery life before we can clearly say whether this device is worth buying or not.
