The Mi 3 measures 144 x 73.6 x 8.1 mm and weighs 145 grams.

It is powered by quad-core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 mobile Chipset – a powerful chipset often found in handsets priced above Rs 30,000. It has also 2 GB RAM which is more than enough for handling graphics intensive tasks.

This handset has 16 GB on-board storage but has no expandable memory slot. Thankfully, it comes with USB on the go feature; thus you can use pen drives for additional storage.

The Mi 3 has a 13 Megapixel rear camera comprising of Sony Exmor RS sensor with dual LED flash while in its front lies a 2 megapixel camera.

The Mi 3 also has Dual-Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP, and NFC. It has a mini SIM slot and it supports 3G connectivity (up to 42 Mbps speed).

Mi 3 uses GPS with A-GPS as well as GLONASS for navigation.
