With the CES 2017 all set to kick off tomorrow for general public, ZTE is expected to announce a couple of new smartphones, of which one of them is expected to be ZTE Blade V8. Recently, a ZTE smartphone with model no ZTE BV0800, possibily the Blade V8, was spotted on the website of Chinese certification agency, TENAA. Some of the specs was also leaked quite recently .Interestingly, another phone, dubbed as ZTE Blade V8 Pro has also been leaked online which is likely to be unveiled alongside the ZTE Blade V8 making it up for the two smartphones that the company is likely to announce. Both the smartphones feature dual rear camera set up.
A Russian site, helpix.ru has leaked the specifications of the ZTE Blade V8 Pro which features a 5.5-inch Full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) IPS 2.5D curved glass display offering 401 ppi pixel density. It is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 625 (MSM8953) processor, which is clubbed with 3GB of RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone will run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed by a 3140 mAh battery. The device comes with dual SIM dual standby support and measures at 155.96x76.96x9.14 mm weighing around 185 grams.
The Blade V8 Pro comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB by a micro SD card. The smartphone has a dual rear camera setup of two 13-megapixel sensors with LED flash and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.
ZTE Blade V8 Pro is expected to launch in the United States in the coming weeks for $230 which is approximately Rs 15,687.
As per previous TENAA listing, the earlier spotted ZTE Blade V8 smartphone has a 5.2-inch full HD display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution, a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor and 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM. It offers 16GB/32GB/64GB of internal storage, a dual rear camera set up of 13 megapixel and 2 megapixel, a 13 megapixel front facing camera and a 2,730 mAh battery. Each variant of the phone will also include a microSD card slot that supports up to 128GB of expandable storage. The device comes with fingerprint sensor at the physical home button.
The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat operating system. The phone is 148.4 mm tall, 71.5 mm wide and 7.7 mm thin and it weighs 141 grams, according to the TENAA listing. As per the listing, the device will be available in Gray, silver, rose gold and gold colour variants. It comes with 4G LTE with VoLTE support, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and other connectivity options.
