Zopo has announced the launch of a new smartphone, named as Hero 1, in India at Rs 12,000. The smartphone comes 5-inch HD (1280×720 pixel) display and is powered by a quad core Mediatek processor (MT6735) that has a clock speed of 1.3 GHz and preinstalled with Android 5.1 operating system. It is paired with 2GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up-to 64 GB via microSD card.
The dual SIM Zopo Hero 1 offers 4G connectivity. It has a 13.2 Megapixel primary camera that has 1/3.06 inch sensor size and 5P lens. The device has a 5 megapixel fixed focus camera that has 3P lens.
Kevin Xu, founder of Zopo, said, “We have a constant eye on the customer demand and behavior, based on which we design and structure out smart devices. We do not believe in loading redundant features on a device that a user would never use. Bearing this in mind, the new Hero 1 simplifies life for people with its minimalistic yet futuristic features for people with smart and uncomplicated needs.”
