Xiaomi, which is commemorating its 2nd anniversary in India, has launched a 10000 mAh power bank and two earphones in the Indian market. The power bank is available from Mi website for Rs 1,299. While the Mi Capsule earphone (originally called as Mi Piston Air headphone) is available at Rs 999, the Mi in-ear Headphone Pro Gold is priced at Rs 1,799.
The power bank has 10000 mAh Panasonic/LG battery cells and as per the company can charge the Mi Note’s 3000 mAh battery 2.1 times. Wrapped in a sleek aluminium case, comes with a power check button, four indicator lights, one Micro USB input port, and a USB output port.
The Rs 999, Mi Capsule earphone is available in black and white colours. It has Hypoallergenic silicone earbuds which are curved by 45 degrees thus promising comfort. It comes with 7 mm dynamic drivers and “spiral damping system” that claims to offer strong and distinct sound. It has volume control buttons as well as call connect/disconnect key. It is made with Kevlar fibres which are known to reduce tangles, resist breaks and enhance durability.
The Rs 1,799 earphone also comes with Kevlar fibres and three buttons (volume up/down and a call answering button). As per Xiaomi, it has high quality silicon to prevent skin irritation.
Under a special offer, Xiaomi is now offering the Mi In-Ear headphone pro gold with the Mi 5 Gold model for free but at the time of writing, it was out of stock.
Meanwhile, it was the last day of Mi’s anniversary sale wherein the company was offering its devices at just Rs 1 under flash sale every 2 PM. It has also slashed prices of most of its devices. The Mi 5 black and white versions are still available for Rs 2,000 discount and are selling at Rs 22,999 while Mi 4 is selling at just Rs 10,999 – a drop of Rs 4,000. However, note that today is the last date of the sale and the special discounts may not be available from tomorrow.
