As reported earlier, Vivo is getting ready to unveil Vivo X9 and X9 Plus on November 16. Now reportedly another Vivo smartphone, the Vivo Xplay 6 is also coming in this month and the phone will then go on sale in early December.
As per a post on Chinese microblogging website Weibo, Vivo Xplay 6 will come with 2K display and 1440 x 2560 (QHD) resolution. The device will be powered by quad-core processor with Snapdragon 821 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It will be backed up by a 4000mAh battery and it runs on Funtouch OS 3.0.
Vivo Xplay 6 is also expected to include an embedded Hi-Fi chip and fingerprint sensor. The leak also reveals that the Vivo Xplay 6 could come with a dual camera setup. However, it is only rumoured and nothing is confirmed as of now.
Earlier reports have revealed that the Vivo X9 will sport dual rear camera setup with Sony’s IMX260 sensor, which is the same sensor found on the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge. Further, as per reports, the smartphone is said to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 653, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory.
Vivo XPlay 6 will succeed XPlay 5 smartphone (world’s first 6GB RAM smartphone), which was launched (https://www.themobileindian.com/news/17909_Worlds-first-phone-with-6GB-RAM-launched) in March this year.
We have to wait for Vivo to officially announce the smartphones to know more about their specs and prices.
