Jumping straight to the specifications, the Ultra30 comes with a 5-inch (720 x1280 pixels) IPS Display with MiraVision and DragontrailX 2.5D curved glass offering smooth and scratch less experience. Powering the device is a MTK 1.3GHz 64-bit Quad-Core processor coupled with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which is further expandable up to 64GB via microSD card. For photography, the smartphone features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera with Auto Focus, PDAF and Dual Flash paired with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. For protection, the rear camera has Gorilla Glass Camera lens and also comes with Smart Wide Dynamic (SWDR) and ISOCELL technology for wide-angled panoramic shots and low-light photography.

The device runs on 6.0 Marshmallow and is backed by a whopping 4000 mAh battery with 20% faster-charging feature. Other features include SOS-Be Safe feature, Dual WhatsApp (Use two WhatsApp account on one smartphone), Gesture Control and Cast Screen.

At this price point with this specifications, Videocon’s Ultra 30 is surely a decent competitor to the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime and Lenovo K6 Power, however, the brand reputation will play a role here. No doubt, Videocon is one of the pioneers in TV & Home Appliances, but can it carry it forward to smartphones like Ultra30 as well? We will find that soon.
