UMI, a China based handset manufacturer which had entered the Indian market back in 2013, is all set to launch an Android Lollipop smartphone. The handset, named as UMI Iron, will be launched on June 23. The company is teasing the phone promising special giveaway.
“UMI Iron Giveaway in 5 days (23rd.June- 29th ),†the company said on its Facebook page.
As per the teaser, the UMI Iron will have a a 5.5inch LTPS display with full HD resolution.
The teaser also mentions 3 GB RAM, 16 GB ROM, 13 megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX214 sensor and LED flash light, and an 8 megapixel front camera.
Besides, the teaser image says 7.9 mm full metal body. Besides, the UMI Iron is said to have HiFi audio with 25 MW output.
The teaser also mentions that the phone will have Android Lollipop operating system and a 3350 mAh battery promising 200 hours of standby and 42 hours of 2G talktime. As per the teaser, it will have a Mediatek octa core processor.
