Two Honor Prague series phones gets FCC certification

The smartphones are expected to come with 3GB RAM and 2900 battery.

Honor just recently unveiled its new premium smartphone Honor Magic at an event in China. Now seems, soon after launching Honor Magic, the company is working on two new devices which are codenamed as Honor Prague series smartphones. The smartphones have got the all necessary approval from Federal Communications Commission (FCC) that regulates interstate and international communications by radio, television, wire, satellite and cable in the US.

The smartphones are codenamed as PRA-LX1 and PRA-LX3 but it is expected that the smartphones will be named differently once they get officially unveiled. It is also to be noted that the Mate 9 which was launched last month was also codenamed as Manhattan in earlier leaks and rumors.

Sadly, the FCC listing does not list out much specifications of the Honor Prague smartphones but as per the FCC document, the smartphones are expected to come with 3GB RAM, 2900 Li-Po battery, Bluetooth 4.2 and 2.4GHz Wi-Fi as connectivity feature. Furthermore, they are expected to run on Nougat operating system.

The FCC listing also mentions that the PRA-LX1 model has an FCC ID of QISPRALX1 and measures a length of 147.22mm and width of 72.9mm. It will also feature a fingerprint scanner and a single rear camera with the LED flash.

To recall, the Honor Magic is priced at 3699 yuan (approx Rs 36,108) and comes with a 5.09-inch with a screen of 2560×1440 resolution. The device is powered by company’s in-house is a 2.3GHz octa-core Huawei Kirin 950 processor, which is found in the Honor 8 as well. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, the device sports a 12MP dual lens sensor with an f/2.2 aperture, while for the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with company new Honor Magic Live on top of it. The device is powered by a 2,900mAh battery with company’s latest Huawei Magic Power quick charge technology which the company boasts can charge the device up to 70 per cent in just 20 minutes.
