Sony Xperia XZs smartphone now to launch on April 3 in India

The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU.

Sony si all set to launch the Xperia XZs next week on April 3. Earlier, the smartphone was planned to launch on April 4 but now the company has preponed the launch event for April 3 instead, for the reasons best known to the company itself. The Sony Xperia XZs was first introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 trade show. along with another flagship, Xperia XZ Premium and two mid-range smartphones namely Xperia XA1 and XA1 Ultra were also announced at MWC event.

The Xperia XZs sports a 5.2-inch full display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 530 GPU. The phone is backed by a 4GB of RAM and comes in two 32GB and 64GB storage options. The device is IP65/IP68 certified meaning that it is water and dust resistance. It runs on the latest 7.0 Nougat operating system and is juiced up a 2900mAh battery backup with Quick Charge 3.0 technology.

The smartphone sports a 19-megapixel rear camera which supports Super slow motion 960fps video capture, Predictive Capture, Ant-distortion shutter, Triple image sensing technology, predictive Hybrid Autofocus, 5-axis stabilisation and video recording. For the front, there is 13-megapixel Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, 22mm wide angle lens, ISO6400 and f/2.2. On the connectivity, the device supports 4G, 4.2, A-GPS/GLONASS, Wi-Fi, and Type C. The smartphone measures 146 x 72 x 8.1 mm and weighs 161 grams.
