Sony Xperia XA1 with Android N, Helio P20 CPU goes official in Hong Kong

The company is all set to launch Xperia XZs smartphone in India today.

Sony Xperia XA1 smartphone, which was first announced at MWC 2017, along with Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZs and XA1 Ultra mid-range smartphones, has gone official in Hong Kong. The smartphone is priced at HK$2,498, which is approximately Rs 20,858 and comes in White, Black, Gold, and Pink colour options. As of now there is no official word on when this smartphone will hit the Indian shore. However, company is launching Xperia XZs smartphone in India today at an event scheduled to take place in New Delhi.

The Xperia XA1 features a 5-inch (720×1280 pixel) display with protection and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 Octa Core 64bit (Quad core 2.3GHz + Quad core 1.6GHz) processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage that can be expanded up to 256GB via micro SD card slot. The smartphone runs on N operating system.

On the camera front, the Xperia XA1 offers a 23-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.3″ Exmor RS for mobile image sensor, Hybrid Autofocus, 5x Clear Image Zoom, flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The device is juiced by a 2300mAh battery with Quick Charging support. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G, A-GNSS (GPS + GLONASS), WiFi Miracast, 4.2, and USB port. The handset measures 145 x 67 x 8 mm and weighs 143 grams.
