Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) has already been in works which is evident by the fact that the device was previously spotted on GFXBench and GeekBench Benchmarking websites. However, the Galaxy J5 (2017) has nowreceived Bluetooth certification with v4.1 from the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) which indicated a possible launch soon. Apart from this, a couple of live images of the smartphone has also been surfaced online which reveals the handset’s internal design.
The first image shows the front side of the phone without the display panel revealing the front camera on the top of the device with LED flash while the bottom part of the smartphone shows a fingerprint scanner. The second image shows the rear panel of the smartphone showing the camera with a single LED flash and the Samsung logo. The left side seems to have volume controllers while the power button seems to be placed on the right.
As per previous multiple listings, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2017) will come with a 4.8-inch HD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution and 5 finger gesture support. It is expected to be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 7870 1.5 GHz octa-core processor and 2GB RAM. It offers 16GB of internal storage out of which 11GB will be reserved for the users. Besides, it has ARM Mali-T830 GPU and Android 7.0 Samsung Edition operating system. Galaxy J5 (2017) has a 13-megapixel Autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while a 13-megapixel camera in its front as well. The GFX listing shows that the device has connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and WiFi. As per the listing, the device has an accelerometer, gyroscope, light sensor and Proximity Sensor as well.
To recall, Samsung Galaxy J5 (2016) has a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core 64-bit processor and 2 GB RAM. The J5 (2016) offers 16GB of internal storage and 64 GB expandable memory. The phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system and is backed by a 3100 mAh battery.The handset has a 13-megapixel autofocus camera and a LED flash on its rear panel while a 5-megapixel camera is in its front. Besides this, the smartphone offers 4G, Bluetooth, GPS, WiFi, NFC and a Micro USB port. It comes in White, Gold and Pink Gold colours.
